Questions
Is this only for chemistry students?
No. Paper I is common to all streams of the Combined Geo-Scientist exam, so these tests are for geologists, geophysicists and hydrogeologists as much as for chemists.
How is each test marked?
Exactly like UPSC: +0.83 for a right answer, −0.28 for a wrong one, nothing for a blank. You see your score against VKC's target, your topic-wise strengths and weak spots, and the solution to every question as soon as you submit.
Till when can I take the tests?
Every test stays open till the exam on 10 January 2027. Each can be taken once, at any time.
